2 Year OLDS

pLay Room

Our two year olds room is a small, friendly. The room is managed by qualified, experienced nursery practitioners

The children are guided through their development ultimately through play using a range of planned fun, exciting and educational activities to capture and stimulate the minds of these young children. The activities on offer to the two year olds depend on the stage of development of each child although all activities differentiate between ages.

The 2 year olds generally follow the same routine as the 3 yr old room but have separate time and space to explore activities beneficial to their age ranges. All children have access to the garden daily and often participate in going for walks around the school grounds to explore the nature and wildlife within their environment.

Parents as Partners

Throughout your child’s time at nursery we always welcome telephone calls throughout the day if you require to find out how your child has been. Your child’s key worker will be more than happy to inform you of your child’s day, activities they have enjoyed and their general mood.

At the end of the nursery day, you will receive a report sheet informing you of activities your child has enjoyed and participated in, what they have eaten, the time they have slept, nappy changes and any items that may be requested for your child.

Most importantly your childs carers will always available for a short chat at the end of the nursery day to liaise about your childs care, their nursery day in general, activities they enjoy or any queries and requests that you may have.
